  • Why do I need to log in with Facebook?
    • We require you to log in with Facebook so we can confirm you're a real human being and allowed to run ads for a business. No robots allowed!
       
  • What if I don't see my Facebook business page when I login to DropIn and search for it?
    • Our software has to sift through thousands of Facebook pages to find your business. Try counting to 10 to see if it shows up.
    • Make sure you're typing in the name of your Facebook business page title to match how it's written on Facebook - spelling, spaces, symbols, etc.
       
  • Will DropIn ever post on my Facebook page, or the page of the business I've selected?
    • First and foremost - we will not do anything with your Facebook account or on the page of the business you've selected - we will not post, comment, "Like" or alter anything in anyway. Your company's page on Facebook is yours and you should control it.
    • We won't change any details of the Facebook business page you've selected, either. 
       
  • Where do my display ads appear?
    • We work with some pretty cool partners including Nexage and Pubmatic. These partners help us place your display ads on the mobile web and on mobile apps such as news, weather and entertainment channels, games and more.
    • Some examples of the popular apps and mobile websites where our ads appear include: MLB.com, USWeekly, Accuweather, Words with Friends, TuneIn Radio, ABC News, and many many (thousands many) more.
       
  • What happens when someone clicks on my mobile ad?
    • When you set up your mobile ad with DropIn you have a choice of sending users who click to either:
    • 1) your own, existing website (hopefully mobile-friendly), or
    • 2) we will generate a responsive landing page with information you've already posted to your Facebook business page, and send your users to that page. This page can be previewed anytime as you're setting up your DropIn mobile ad, and includes details like: address, phone number, profile image, and recent posts.
       
  • Sounds great...but how fast does this all work?
    • You can get up and running with DropIn in no time. From creation to launch, a small business can reach thousands of eyeballs in under 5 minutes. You can then change your display ad on the fly, in an instant.
       
  • How often can I change my ad?
    • You can change your ad image and text as often as you like: monthly, daily, weekly, or hourly. Heck, change it every minute! We recommend changing it at least every two weeks to keep it fresh with your audience.

  • What is the best image size to upload?
    • We recommend images that are 300 pixels wide and 120 pixels high, as this will fit best in the 3 ad sizes.

  • If I stand in my target area and load one of the apps or sites my ad might show up on, will I see my ad?
    • There's a chance you'll see your ad. DropIn's location-targeted ads are rendered and served in real-time when a user is in the target location and engaged with an app or mobile website. However, because ads are served programmatically, we can not make them appear on demand.
  • How do I know that people are seeing my ad?
    • We track who's viewing your ad and where they're located and display it all for you, in real time, on your DropIn dashboard.
       
  • How small/large of an area can I target?
    • Pick one zip code, or pick many. You can target as many zip codes as you'd like in one campaign. What's ideal? We recommend up to 5 zip codes for the Neighborhood Plan, and up to 10 zip codes for the City Plan.
       
  • What will my ads look like?
    • In DropIn you can see a preview of your ad in all three sizes and change the text, design, photo, font, and more.
